La Surfería was born from the dream of a group of surfer friends passionate about their homeland, Suances, on the Cantabrian coast. Today, it is an integral project that goes beyond being just a beachfront bar where you can enjoy the best street food in the area. Located in front of La Concha beach, this venue not only welcomes those seeking to enjoy the sea breeze and the surfer atmosphere but also offers accommodation, a surf school, and a specialised shop—creating a 360º experience that celebrates a fresh and vibrant lifestyle shared with friends.

The surfer spirit is reflected in every corner of La Surfería. With a colour palette dominated by the deep blue of the sea and complemented by vibrant tones like mustard and brick, the project blends harmoniously with the coastal environment, enhancing its natural beauty.

Its seaside location demands furniture that can withstand exceptional conditions of humidity and salt air. That’s why La Surfería chose Ezpeleta’s outdoor furniture, which combines contemporary design, durability, and practicality—ensuring their terrace furniture stands up to the unique climate of coastal areas.

Inside the bar-restaurant, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming with a touch of sophistication. The BAKE WOOD chairs in taupe, featuring FSC-certified wood backrests made with ULEF (Ultra Low Emission Formaldehyde) adhesives, bring warmth and elegance while ensuring exceptional comfort for guests.

The terraces of La Surfería are true gathering spots for those wanting to soak up the sun and enjoy the stunning views. On the beachfront terrace, they have chosen URBAN high tables and TRENA high stools, combined with MEET tables and standard-height TRENA chairs, creating different levels to appreciate the ocean scenery. Visual harmony is achieved through the choice of chairs in blue grey and tables in anthracite with oak tops, giving the space a modern and elegant feel.

A second terrace embraces colour as its defining feature. The FADO chairs—stackable and made from 100% recyclable polypropylene reinforced with fibreglass—are featured in a playful mix of mustard, brick, aquamarine, and sand, reflecting the dynamic nature of this vibrant setting. Adding a special surfer touch are the MANILA raffia parasols, with fibreglass ribs designed to withstand the winds typical of beachfront terraces.

The careful selection of colours and materials reinforces La Surfería’s visual identity, enhancing the relaxed aesthetic of the project and turning each space into the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy.
